The Quest: The mysterious Everfree Forest is home to all sorts of creepy critters. Please go explore and see if you can document any rare beasts you haven't seen before! But be careful; hardly anything in there is friendly.

It was another sunny day in Canterlot, the capital of Equestria. A perfect day to stage a new exploration of the Everfree Forest, a pegasus named Derby mused as she loped lazily down the cobblestone streets and alleys, eventually coming upon the Main Square where a fair amount of ponies were gathered. Some lingered at the quest board, others selling things at merchanting stalls, and yet more wandering around and window-shopping.
Slowing to a trot, the charcoal-colored pony approached the bulletin board and looked for the desired mission, just to be sure, and once she found it, she quickly signed a slip of paper and pinned it up by the flier to let others know that there were open spots for it. Derby hoped others would be quick to respond. She wasn't fond of being patient.

lavender light
Lavender trotted through the marketplace, ignoring the cries of fresh hay and muffins. She glanced up at the sky - sunny, without a cloud in sight. The unicorn decided she wasn't going to stay in the library all day; she wanted to do something...interesting! Daring! Adventurous, even! Then she stopped, in the Main Square by now. How did one go about finding something to do that was interesting, daring and adventurous?
Her eyes fell upon the quest board. "Oh! Of course!" Lavender muttered. She made a beeline to the quest board - "Move, hobo, thank you" - and looked over it. No, no, was that even possible?, no, no..."Aha!" A quest into Everfree Forest! It was perfect! Lavender turned in a slow circle and spotted a dark gray pegasus with a roller blade cutie mark.
Trotting over to the pegasus, she greeted her. "Excuse me, are you Derby?"

Fillet
A royal blue pegasus flitted around the main square, taking in everything going on with excitement. Her shaggy green hair kept flopping into her eyes as she looked at everything enthusiastically. Wow, she'd been here for a while, and it was still so... fascinating. Not watching where she was going, she ran into the town quest board, falling to the ground.
"Come on, Fillet, watch where you're flying. You're going to hurt yourself someday." She muttered to herself, shaking her head to try and clear it. She looked up at the board that had jumped in her way, noticing the most recent edition. Hmm, a quest into the Everfree Forest... Oh, that sounded interesting! She'd always wanted to go on a quest!
"I wonder if I could be any help...?"
