Name: PastelMoon
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Type: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: Translucent lavender moon with pink sparkles.
Personality:
Moon is a quiet unicorn. She would prefer to avoid confrontations but is smart enough to realize this isn't always as simple as it sounds. Particularly in her position. A very curious pony, she tries to understand all things she comes across. Things she can't understand immediately, she makes note of and researches more later. Thinks such as dragons and the beliefs of the bison intrigue her greatly, as well as why the ponies are forced to control time, weather, and the like. As strange as she finds this, she thinks it's helpful. Without their separate callings, as she refers to them, Equestria could fall apart. She wishes she could figure out the other species' place in the world as it is now.
Her cutie mark gives her the power to "divine" things. What this means is she can look to the night sky for inspiration and answers. Sometimes she finds the correct answer. Other times she finds nothing or, worse, the wrong answer. Other than this, she can lift items of her weight or less with ease. She doesn't weigh much, but she's learned over the years that she can lift heavier things by using much more energy. She dislikes doing this because it makes her tired and cranky. She also has a spectacular memory but whether this is actually a gift of her mark is uncertain.
Appearance:
History:
PastelMoon was one of the first in her class to get her cutie mark. However, she had no idea what powers it gave her. It was just a pretty marking on her side--and pale at that. It didn't take her too long to realize she could lift things with magic. Her divining powers came long after. It wasn't until she was getting into her young adult years that she discovered the sky held answers. Figuring out how to ask is what took her so long.
What earned her the right to being Cardinal was surprisingly simple in her mind. One night, she got information from the sky that she never would have expected. She discovered information about a possible adult dragon raiding Canterlot. Although the other ponies were skeptical of her prediction (as was she), they prepared for it. Because of this, they were able to stop a particularly greedy dragon from leveling the city looking for valuables.
