The Quest: I need you to fly up and visit with the Gryphon Kingdom for a few days. Spar at their training grounds and tour the royal palace. Only through knowledge will we be able to connect with other nations. But beware the Tunnel of Teeth!

Night Shade walked through Cantalot's main square, her head low. She wanted to attract as little attention as possible, still paranoid that people would judge her for her family's choice of hobbies.
She slowly trotted up to the quest board, her ears perking up a little as she glanced over the various jobs available. Maybe completing a quest or two could earn her some respect? She grinned at the thought and continued reading.
Finally, one quest caught her eyes. There was one to do with the Gryphons! She glanced back at her wings for a second, stretching them. She was a strong flyer, whatever they had her do, she was sure she would be up for the task. Now, all she needed to do was find other Ponies to join her.
She quickly signed up for the quest, well, as quickly as a Pony without magic or fingers could sign anyhow, and pinned her application up on the board, her name clear on it. Then, giving a small sigh, she trotted to the side to sit and wait, hoping that someone else would come along and be interested.

"Looking to go to the Gryphon Kingdom?"
A large shadow fell across the area as the creature momentarily blotted out the light. When he landed, his form was revealed. A massive Gryphon, his feathers ink black and his fur a stunning gold with black ringlets. His iridescent gold eyes sparkled mysteriously.
"Need a guide, little pony? My sister hurt her wing in training and apparently I have to go home. I might as well keep a couple of the ponyfolk safe if they're thinking of heading that way."
The gryphon sat down, flicking his tail coolly. "Names Riaken."

Night Shade looked up as the shadow loomed over her, her ears perking up at the sound of a voice. "Why yes I a-"
She broke off mid-sentence as the majestic Gryphon landed in front of her. "Such a beautiful coat!" She muttered, admiring the Gryphon's drastic colours.
"Oh! Hello Riaken." She replied, finally taking her eyes off of his coat and onto his own. They, of course, were just as dazzling. Gryphons were such wonderful creatures. "I-I'm Night Shade." She said, looking down as she said her name, scared of prejudice against her family. Then it occurred to her that a Gryphon may not have heard of her family, and that gave her a little more confidence.
Lifting her head to look at the Gryphon again, she nodded, "Yes, please." She said, happily. "I'd love a guide, I've never been to the Gryphon kingdom before!"

Dazzle;
Dazzle trotted along the streets of Canterlot towards the Main Square. She had high hopes that there would be quests open; she was looking for something to do. Once reaching the square, she saw a gorgeous pegasus and striking Gryphon. Oh my. I'd love to be on a quest with those two.
"Hiya! Are you two goin' on a quest," Dazzle began enthusiastically. "Hah! Of course you are! What goes on here?"
