Personality:

Firestarter would much rather lounge around than doing what is required of her has a Canterlot Pegasus; she couldn't be less interested in all of this sky clearing and colonizing. No, all Firestarter wants to do is lounge about. She is, in a word: lazy.

Despite being a Pegasus, Firestarter spends most of her time on the ground. She finds lounging about down below to be far more interesting than dashing about in the skies with the other Pegasus Ponies; in fact, she may have even forgotten to fly.

Firestarter isn't exactly the friendliest of ponies, either. Sharp-tongued and brutally honest is her delivery style of choice, which does make befriending other ponies to be hard. She secretly wishes she could find the motivation to leave on an adventure, but getting off her hooves has proven to be quite the challenge.

When she was younger, Firestarted did love to fly about the skies, and found her special talent that would later be revealed in her cutie mark: igniting things. With a single kick to a stormcloud, she could direct a lightning bolt to set just about anything on fire.

History:

Firestarter was born in Canterlot to working-class Pegasus ponies with a love for doing their daily duties. It's little surprise that she got quickly worn out from her sky-clearing chores... Until she found that she could easily entertain herself by lighting things on fire.

It wasn't a completely useless skill; any sort of empire has its waste to be disposed of, and Firestarter was pleased to help. She was at peace with her calling in life until one of her fires got a bit carried away and nearly burned her house down.

While this wasn't exactly a traumatic experience for Firestarter (being a bit of a pyro, she was actually thrilled by the blaze), her parents had a stop put to her job immediately. Ever since, life has been a bore yet again for the red pony.
