Frostwire is generally very calm and quiet. She doesn't really like to make a scene, or cause a lot of problems. If she needs help with something, she won't ask for help, but she would accept it if its offered. She is quite intelligent and thinks before she speaks, or acts. She enjoys giving advice to younger ponies.
When put in situations where she is uncomfortable or is thrown way out of her comfort zone, Frostwire tends to shut down. She's not very good in social situations, and can really only tolerate a few friends at a time.
Overall, Frostwire is a friendly unicorn. She doesn't make friends easily but that isn't due to meanness or pranks; she just doesn't know how to have friends.
Frostwire's cutie mark is a frozen star with three gems beneath it. It allows her a small control of the temperature around herself; she likes it a little chilly. She can cool objects down by touching them with her horn.
Appearance:
Frostwire has long legs and a lithe build. Her body is a pale silver-blue colour. She has bright, thoughtful blue eyes, the approximate shade of mid-afternoon sky. Her mane is long with a single braid half-way down her neck. At the end of the braid is a black feather. Her mane is a bright silver-white colour with blue streaks. Her tail is the same, but has fewer streaks.
Her horn is fairly long for a unicorn of her age.
History:
Frostwire was born in the middle of winter, very early in the morning. Her proud parents raised her together, separate from other ponies. They had always been loners, and ended up raising Frostwire to be the same way.
When she had been very young, she discovered a gryphon chick wandering in the woods, far away from his home. He had been chasing a rabbit, and hadn't realized how far he had gone. Frostwire and Riaken became friends, though their personalities clashed all the time. When Riaken's parents came to get him, he told them he had made up his mind and was coming back. And Frostwire promised she'd still be here.
Her parents moved more towards central Equestria, and Frostwire worried that her friend wouldn't be able to find her.
