Personality:

Barrel Roll is a lethargic pony. It takes a good deal to get him excited about anything that doesn't lie within his tight circle of interests. His reluctance to step out of his comfort zone usually irritates the people he socializes with, but for the sake of appeasement (and for them to get off his back), he'll do what a pony has to do. When in a social environment, he's pretty quiet, and almost blends into the crowd.

He's different when he's alone, or doing something he's very interested in. He can be quite competitive when it comes to video games, especially when he's playing on his Neighstation 3. He can be rowdy and rough, but with just enough caution to keep himself out of trouble. he also has this aura of manliness surrounding him, and his confidence soars.

History:

Like everypony, Barrel Roll was born to a loving pony family. While he appreciated the love his family gave him, it soon became less interesting. Soon, he would go out and explore the parts outside of his house, but never venturing too far away. It happened every day until his sister was born, which was when he jumped back into his family's open arms again.

It was his father who got him interested in electronics, and subsequently videogames. He soon got a knack for it, and while him and his father would play together, he was usually stuck playing alone while his father worked. He ignored the pleas of helping tend the fields outside, still absorbed in the wonderful reality of videogames.

One day, he trotted on over to his system, where he watched his younger sister stuck in an intense boss battle. Offering his assistance, it was a grueling match of wits until the boss was finally beaten. A sigh of glee surprised Barrel Roll, and when he looked back, his cutie mark appeared. The family held a party to celebrate the occasion.
