Lavender Light prides herself on honesty and kindness. She always tries to help those in need, but isn't afraid to dish out some tough love to anypony who deserves it. However, she's shy unless approached first, and would rather watch on the sidelines than get involved. This isn't easy, though, with a bright rainbow mane and tail - and she's somewhat self-conscious because of this. But nopony is perfect. Lavender is prone to getting irritated very easily, and often refuses to complete things if they frustrate her too much. Her feelings are easily hurt; she can hold grudges for quite a while, and she relies on sarcasm to keep her from blowing up.
Her cutie mark was on the dot - she loves to write, and will spend hours thinking of backstories for her characters and the perfect plot twist. She has been known to disappear from important events to jot down a scene that just came to her head.

History:
Lavender was born on the outskirts of Canterlot to an earth pony and unicorn. She was an only child, and rather spoiled by her parents, who also taught her proficiency in magic and manual labor alike. However, they always tried to get her to follow in their hoofsteps, which never worked as she became frustrated with doing things she wasn't good at. One day, after a vivid dream, she quickly wrote it down so as to not forget it, and found a white quill on her flank to symbolize her newfound talent.
